XR-5® Recently Installed at Two Deicing Ponds at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport
Each pond is capable of holding 3 million gallons of pre-treated fluid for10 airside deicing stations at the airport.
New XR-5 liners replaced 40-mil HDPE and new tan XR-5 floating covers replaced 45-mil Polypropylene. The old liners and covers, which were less than 10 years old, had visible openings caused by holes and separations in the seams.
